Using your favorite recipe, in a large nonreactive mixing bowl*, substitute 2 cups of La Cuisine Chef’s Wine for the recipe’s white wine, herbs and spices (reminder: LCCW has no added salt or preservatives).

Ingredients:

-3/4 cup La Cuisine Chef’s Wine*
-1/2 cup olive oil
-1 zest of a lemon
- 1 squeezed lemon (juice)
-3 tablespoons white or brown sugar
-1 to 2 cloves garlic (minced)
-1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions:

Set aside 1/4 cup for basting
Mix ingredients using a nonreactive mixing bowl

To marinate, place the seafood or meat and marinade in a nonreactive container (e.g., plastic or glass) and immerse in the LCCW marinade. Or use a resealable plastic bag with the seafood or meat and marinade inside the refrigerator.

(Prep Notes: If possible, prepare the day before marinating. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to five days. Discard any marinade that has been in contact with raw meat or raw seafood. If you want to use the LCCW marinade sauce for basting, set a portion aside always before adding the marinade to the meat or seafood.)
