La Cuisine Chef’s Wine: Poached Salmon (Poaching Liquid)
Using your favorite recipe, in a large nonreactive saucepan*, substitute 2 cups of La Cuisine Chef’s Wine for the recipe’s white wine, herbs and spices (reminder: LCCW has no added salt or preservatives).
Ingredients:
-Salmon or Fish of your Choice
-Your Choice of Herbs and Spices
-La Cuisine Chef’s Wine*
Instructions:
Add 2 cups of water and bring to a simmer. Cook salmon (or your favorite fish) over low heat, turning once, for approximately 6 minutes and remove the fish (pat dry) and discard poaching liquid. (Prep Note: see the LCCW Butter Sauce on our site).
