La Cuisine Chef’s Wine: Saffron Rice

Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Stir chopped onion; cook and stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes. Add finely chopped red bell pepper and finely chopped garlic, ground paprika, ground black pepper, and a dash of salt; continue cooking and stirring for approximately 5 minutes more.

Pour in rice and stir to coat. Add La Cuisine Chef’s Wine – Saffron; stir for 1 minute. Add boiling water and let simmer until water is almost evaporated (approximately 20 minutes more). Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until water is absorbed, about 20 minutes more.
