La Cuisine Chef’s Wine: Steamed Mussels
Ingredients:
-1 1/2 cups of La Cuisine Chef’s Wine*
-Mussels
-Your Choice of Herbs and Spices
Instructions:
Using your favorite recipe, in a large nonreactive stockpot, substitute 1 1/2 cups of La Cuisine Chef’s Wine* for the recipe’s white wine, herbs and spices (reminder: LCCW has no added salt or preservatives). Add mussels, cover and steam the mussels until they open, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat. Discard any mussels that do not open. Continue with the recipe’s instructions. (La Cuisine Chef’s wine goes well with your flavored steamed clams recipe.)
